MISIF is the Malaysia Country Members of SEAISI which is a technical institute representing the iron and steel industries of the South East Asian Countries as well as Australia, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. The current MISIF representatives in SEAISI are:

ASEAN Iron and Steel Industry Federation (AISIF) |

ASEAN Iron and Steel Industry Federation (AISIF) was established in 1977 as a regional industry club under the aegis of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ASEAN-CCI). The primary purpose for the formation of AISIF is to promote the well-being of the iron and steel industry in the ASEAN region, focusing on trade, investment and business promotion.
The members of AISIF are:
- Indonesian Iron and Steel Industry Federation (GAPBESI)
- Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry Federation (MISIF)
- Philippines Iron and Steel Institute (PISI)
- Singapore Iron and Steel Group (SISIG)
- Thailand Iron and Steel Industry Club (TISIG)
- Vietnam Steel Association (VSA)
The affairs of AISIF are administered by a Council comprising of representatives from each of the member countries. Each country is allowed a maximum of three representatives , each of whom are expected to serve for a period of three years.
The countries, by a system of alphabetical rotation, take turn in providing the presidency to AISIF. The current Council Members are:
